Fat Transfers and Fat Injections in Englewood, NJ

Facelift surgery is used to rejuvenate the face and neck to create a more youthful appearance Dr. Kevin Ende, M.D. in Englewood, NJ has performed over 3000 facelifts during his career. To improve the results of a facelift, Dr. Ende also performs fat injections during the procedure. Fat injections can also be done as a standalone procedure. Dr. Ende has performed fat injection procedures for over 1000 patients. Many patients who use filler injections ask for something that is safe but also permanent or longer lasting. Extra fat from your abdomen or flanks can be transferred to your face without an incision. Two commonly asked questions are “How long does the fat last?” and “How much fat does the procedure require?”.  Typically, 30 percent of the fat taken is used, so the area is overfilled at first during the surgery. The fat usually lasts for many years according to the literature.  Dr. Ende has had many patients who still have fat from injections he performed as long as 10 years ago.  10 to 15 percent of patients choose to undergo a second fat injection procedure 6 months later, which makes for even better results.
